It's not as elegant as Vieng Thai is now, but it is a lot like Vieng Thai was when it started (secret, exotic, and home-style).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19953700.post-83458850245410449952008-09-10T14:07:00.000-05:002008-09-10T14:07:00.000-05:00First time went there, the waiter was rude. Second time I ordered food to pick up and because their minimum on credit card orders is $10 and my order was $9.75, he found it imperative he charge my card the extra 25 cents. I questioned that in a friendly way and his response was that gas prices are higher. I picked up my OWN FOOD! I decide to give this place one last try. I ordered the SAME DISH for pick up. Made sure my order was over $10. Now the dish was half the order as normally. I point out to the server that this was the case. The explanation I got was: There was a new cook (who she added was the OWNER) and they couldn't do anything about it. I asked to speak with the owner she said I couldn't. She said prices on everything was higher (not sure what she meant). Then she walked off to the kitchen and completely ignored me. Good food, sucky service and underpaid employees ... you get what you pay for but in this case, I should have gotten more than a hard time!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07560542417648824054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19953700.post-38148527708517593252007-03-07T09:45:00.000-06:002007-03-07T09:45:00.000-06:00the sausages with ginger is my fav.. and the locat...the sausages with ginger is my fav.. and the location is kind of odd...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19953700.post-1170981143531173862007-02-08T18:32:00.000-06:002007-02-08T18:32:00.000-06:00The fried fish, seafood soup, wings, sausages and ...The fried fish, seafood soup, wings, sausages and red curry dishes are excellent.
